Firehouse Subs
I was part of Camp + King's first organic social pitch to Firehouse Subs. The client was open to pivoting their social content direction to engage their younger Instagram and TikTok audiences. My team and I collaborated to concept and execute their new social content in a fresh direction, exploring novel creative territory while making content that stays true to the brand’s identity and audience.
These are my thoughts on how a brand can tap into internet culture on social media.
HOW TO POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA AS A BRAND WITHOUT RUINING THE VIBES
My two cents as a social media art director, former social media manager, and chronically online degenerate.

Any brand that wants to engage in internet culture risks coming off as cringe.
But there is a way to do it right.
It's not about making the flashiest content.
It's not about forcing yourself into trends.
It's not about forcing yourself into trends.
IT'S ABOUT COMING CORRECT.
SOMETIMES,
LESS IS MORE.
LESS IS MORE.
SOMETIMES,
MORE IS MORE.
MORE IS MORE.
You don't have to reinvent the wheel. The wheel is already being co-created by the online community, which your audience is organically participating in.
Brands must earn their place on social media by genuinely partaking in the conversation, not just showing up to sell something.
AND NOW FOR SOME PAID ADS...
